Kseniya and Elliott celebrated their special day here at The Mill Barns in September 2020 and it was simply beautiful!
As a Covid-19 Secure Venue we were able to work with Kseniya and Elliott to plan their amazing wedding which was just sensational! They embraced what could be done, rather than missing what couldn't and they were over the moon with how the day went.
Every moment was extra special, from the moment Kseniya arrived to get ready, the excitement and anticipation began to build. It was so amazing to watch The Mill Barns being transformed into the perfect setting by her incredible venue stylists (more about them later!)
Outdoor Ceremony
The sun shone beautifully, allowing for a stunning outdoor ceremony where the perfect number of seats were placed in line with current guidance. Guests were not required to wear facemasks during the wonderful ceremony as it took place outdoors.
Of course, this this is not always possible, and every wedding is different, but registrars are always keen to help make our couples day extra special. Simply contact them directly to discuss the details of your own ceremony. This is exactly what our beautiful bride did, and she was therefore granted permission for her father to walk her down the aisle.
Sunshine & Roses
Their ceremony was dressed to perfection with incredible flower arrangements and elegantly positioned props by Perfectly Unique Occasions. The delicate combination of white and pink roses, nestling amongst the plush green foliage, created a truly heavenly backdrop for the couple's most special moments together.
Venue Dresser Samantha from Perfectly Unique Occassions said 'Today was a good day! The sun was shining and we got to visit one of our favourite venues to style a wedding yippee... and what a wedding it was!! Who said small and intimate couldn't be a statement!'
The Perfect Meal
The safety of every guest is paramount, so we worked with the couple to create a Covid-19 Secure Venue Table Plan, where social distancing was maintained between households. Each table seated no more than 6 people, all set up in a ‘cabaret’ style, where guests faced the top table. The plan worked beautifully! The atmosphere was fantastic with the whole barn was bathed in sunlight throughout.
Guests enjoyed a fabulous menu, starting with a mouth-watering Spiced Beef Brisket, followed by an indulgent Trio of Roasted Chicken. Guests were then given the very difficult choice between the velvety Warm Chocolate Fudge Brownie or delicious Apple & Blackberry Crumble!
The Icing On The Cake
Following the Wedding Breakfast, it was time for the speeches. The relaxed atmosphere leant itself beautifully to this section of the day, with wedding party members able to address the guests on a much more personal level, without any awkwardness.
After the guests raised a toast to the beaming couple, in the centre of the room, they celebrated by cutting their wedding cake, surrounded by their seated guests.
Without a doubt, the beautiful setting, the incredible food and the intimate atmosphere all took the romantic vibes to the next level.
Memories To Last A Lifetime
Their special day at our Covid-19 Secure Venue was captured beautifully by their fantastic photographer James Capper, who perfectly captured the intimacy and joy shared by the beaming couple on this stunning, sunny September afternoon.
James made full use of the eclectic surroundings at The Mill Barns, creating an incredible collection of perfect moments for the Bride and Groom to share and enjoy for years to come.
Happily Ever After
Kseniya and Elliott were overjoyed with their wedding at The Mill Barns, they were so pleased that they went ahead with their big day and wouldn't change it for the world.
It is amazing what can be acheived with a little bit of thinking outside the box! We're sure you'll agree that the results were spectacular and they are a great inspiration for other couples planning their own Wedding at a Covid-19 Secure Venue.
